CONSERVATIVE DENTISTRY WITH ENDODONTICS

The scope of the lectures for students of the fourth year of dental faculty MUS includes a series of lectures related to diagnostic and therapeutic procedures during the endodontic treatment. Topisc will include issuues concerning endodontic treatment regimens, evaluation of the effectiveness, difficulties occuring in the course, image diagnostics, magnification. Clinical situations will be reclled with description. The whole cycle will include 12 didactic hours devoted to endodontics. The next two didactic hours will be devoted to radiolgical imaging issues.

1. Algorithm for the endodontic treatment.
   

2. Evaluation of the effectiveness of endodontic treatment and difficulties occuring during endodontic treatment.
   

3. The endodontic treatment single-multi – seasons. Biofilm of the root canal. Chemicals in smear layer removal.
   

4. Methods of root canal preparation, materials and technique of root canal obturation.
   

5. Magnification in endodontic treatment.
   

6. Biological treatment of the pulp’ materials; clinical examples.
   

7. Complications in endodontic treatment.
   

8. Selected aspects of radiological imaging method used durring endodontic treatment.
